Linda’s Antique White and Hickory Kitchen in Greensburg, PA

Linda came to us with a clear vision for her dream kitchen, inspired by her previous space. One of her must-haves was recreating the open shelves on the end of her island, which she had always used to display and store cookbooks. We brought this idea to life with a custom-built island bookshelf that now serves as one of the focal points of her stunning new kitchen.

Her kitchen also features several standout elements, including a striking hearth hood, glass doors with integrated lighting on the cabinets flanking the hood, and a uniquely shaped island with seating for two. The full-height quartz backsplash continues seamlessly to a matching quartz window sill, creating a clean, modern look and a practical, water-sealed ledge for plants.

The cabinetry design was chosen to balance warmth and sophistication. The perimeter features a soft, warm antique white paint in a clean shaker door style, paired with a hickory island in our Colonial stain with sable glaze. MSI Calacatta Valentin countertops tie everything together with elegance.

Storage and function were also priorities. By relocating the refrigerator, we created room for additional cabinetry, including a pantry with pull-out roll trays, a second pantry with a built-in microwave, and the relocated fridge.

Finishing details elevate the space even further. A GE Café appliance package, gold pulls and knobs, and gold wall sconces above the sink bring warmth and contrast.

Special thanks to Jones Stone & Marble for fabricating the countertops, backsplash, and windowsill, and to designer Karen Larkin of Klarkin Interiors, who worked with Linda to coordinate finishes and style.

Linda is thrilled with her new kitchen, calling it a dream come true.
